Refund & Cancellation Policy
The application fee is non-refundable. This page sets out why, and the narrow circumstances in which money is returned.

These pages are not ready to publish. Anything shown
as to be supplied is a value nobody has
confirmed — it must not be guessed. Still outstanding across the
policy pages: Support phone, Grievance officer phone. Set them
in src/data/legal.ts. Have the finished pages read by
whoever handles the organisers' legal affairs before going live or
submitting for payment-gateway review; this banner disappears on its
own once nothing is left unset.
The fee is non-refundable
Application processing fee for Femina Miss India Telangana is ₹999 (INR). A single one-time charge. No subscription and no recurring debit.
Once an application has been submitted and payment has gone through, the fee is not refundable and the application cannot be cancelled for a refund. Please be sure before you pay.
Why
The fee pays for the work of processing and assessing an application, and that work begins as soon as the application arrives. It is not a deposit and it does not hold a place. It buys the assessment itself — not an audition, a shortlisting or any particular outcome.
In particular, no refund arises where:
- an application is assessed and not shortlisted;
- an applicant changes their mind after submitting;
- an applicant is offered an audition and does not attend;
- an applicant withdraws at any stage of the competition;
- an application is rejected or disqualified because the information given was untrue.
When money is returned
There are two situations in which you get your money back, because in neither has the service you paid for been provided:
- You were charged more than once, or charged without the application reaching us. The duplicate or orphaned charge is refunded in full.
- The organisers cancel the competition outright and do not reschedule it. Fees are refunded in full.
Nothing on this page removes a right you have under consumer law that cannot be signed away.
How a refund is made
Where one of the situations above applies, the money is returned to the original payment method through PayU. It cannot be sent to a different card or account. Expect it within 7 to 10 working days of the refund being approved; how long it then takes to appear on a statement is set by the bank or card issuer, not by us.
Raising it with us
Write from the email address used on the application to info@feminamissindiatelangana.com , quoting the payment reference on your receipt and the date and amount of the charge.
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — a duplicate or failed charge is usually resolved faster directly. If our answer does not settle it, the grievance officer named on the Contact Us page will review it.
